Accessibility Statement
Room Swap Consignments wants everyone to be able to browse our website, learn about consigning and selling, and get in touch with us — including people with disabilities. We are committed to making roomswapsc.com accessible and to improving it over time.
Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have mobility, cognitive, or other disabilities.
What We've Done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Pages use clear headings and labeled sections so screen readers can move around easily.
- Text and links meet color contrast requirements, and links in paragraphs are underlined so they don't rely on color alone.
- Every form field has a label, and confirmation messages are announced to screen readers.
- The site works on phones and tablets and when text is zoomed up to 200%.
- Animations are turned off for visitors who have “reduce motion” enabled on their device.
- We test pages with automated accessibility tools and by navigating with a keyboard.
Known Limitations
Some content comes from other companies, such as our Facebook and Instagram pages and the map and listing services we link to. We don't control the accessibility of those sites. If anything on our own site is hard to use, please tell us and we'll fix it or get you the information another way.
